Stronger Communities Programme 2021
- Applications close December 1 2021
The Commonwealth Government has announced a seventh round of funding for local projects under the Stronger Communities Programme.
Up to $150,000 of funding is available in the electorate of Corio for small capital projects which improve community participation and contribute to the vibrancy and viability of local communities.
Grants of between $2,500 and $20,000 will be available, but unlike previous rounds, unless you are a Local Governing Body, funding is available for up to 100 per cent of eligible project costs – meaning that your organisation does not need to contribute to the project costs.
If this sounds like something you might be interested in, I am keen to hear about any proposals that you might have for the funding.
An Expression of Interest form (click below) can be emailed to Richard.Marles.MP@aph.gov.au or mailed to 17a Yarra Street, Geelong VIC 3220 by no later than 5pm, Wednesday, 1 December 2021.
A Community Advisory Committee will then identify which proposals represent the best investment for our community.
Proposals that are successful will then be formally invited to submit a full and detailed application 19 January 2022 to the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources via an online application form for final approval.Stronger Communities Programme: Expression of Interest Form
