Volunteer Profile: Tegan
Tegan is a local uni student helping the Corio team get our message out to the people of Geelong, Lara and the Bellarine.
As a uni student and the daughter of a nurse, I want to help protect our Medicare and make sure all people, no matter what their background, can afford to go to uni and not be resigned to a lifetime of debt. I believe in putting people first and a fair go for everyone - that’s why I’m out with Richard and the Corio team helping out with street stalls and doorknocking. I’m really enjoying the face to face interaction with the public and I feel a real sense of accomplishment helping someone who understands the real issues that matter to me and my family.
