AUSTRALIANS NEED MORE THAN JUST A PHOTO OPP FROM NATIONAL CABINET

Australians must be provided with certainty and leadership from Scott Morrison out of tomorrow’s meeting of National Cabinet, not just a photo opportunity.

With increased anxiety leading up to Christmas, Scott Morrison must provide further clarity on mask mandates, the growing delays in testing and his bungled booster rollout program.

We cannot be in a position over Christmas where the states are once again forced to go it alone because Scott Morrison refuses to provide leadership – Australians have already done it too hard the past two years.

Already, Scott Morrison’s track record on the vaccine rollout has left Australians exposed to the omicron variant, with many being forced to spend Christmas alone, without their friends and family. This isn’t good enough.

We need the Morrison-Joyce Government to properly roll out the booster program, provide a testing framework which doesn’t see Australians stuck in hours long queues and confidence from all levels of government about the public health advice.
