Colour Your Way to the 2025 Airshow

We are inviting Primary School students in the Corio electorate to enter the Richard Marles Colouring Competition.

Our 2025 competition offers the chance to win 1 of 4 Family Passes (2 Adults and 2 Children) to attend the Avalon Airshow on Saturday, 28th March 2025.

Entries will be judged in 4 categories; Prep, Grades 1-2, Grades 3-4 and Grades 5-6.

Send your submission by Wednesday 26 March by 5pm by scanning or emailing a copy of your entry to Richard.Marles.MP@aph.gov.au with the subject heading Richard Marles Colouring Competition.

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Introduction

1.1 These terms and conditions apply to the children’s colouring competition (the “Competition”) organised by Richard Marles, MP (“the Organiser”).

1.2 By entering the Competition, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  1. How to Enter

2.1 The Competition is open to people who are residents of Geelong.

2.2 To enter, participants must:

  • Download or print the colouring sheet available on the official Meta platforms of Richard Marles MP.
  • Complete the colouring sheet and take a photo or scan of the completed artwork.
  • Submit the image via the official submission process as specified by the Organiser, including any instructions provided on the relevant Meta platform (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).

2.3 Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

  1. Age Limit

3.1 The Competition is open to primary school children, and entries must be submitted by a parent or guardian.

  1. Prize

4.1 The winner of the Competition will receive a family pass to the Avalon Air Show, comprising of two adult tickets and two children’s tickets and a car parking pass, worth $286.

4.2 The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other goods and services.

4.3 The winner will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses to and from the Avalon Air Show.

  1. Selection of Winners

5.1 The Competition will be judged by a panel selected by Richard Marles MP.

5.2 Judging will be based on the creativity, quality, and effort displayed in the completed artwork.

5.3 The winner will be notified via phone call on 27 March, 2025. The winner must respond within 48 hours of notification with an eligible email address to claim their prize.

5.4 If the winner does not respond within the specified time frame, an alternate winner will be selected.

  1. Privacy

6.1 By entering the Competition, participants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data for the purposes of administering the Competition and awarding the prize.

6.2 Personal data will be handled in accordance with the Organiser’s privacy policy.

  1. General Terms

7.1 The Organiser reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

7.2 The Organiser will not be liable for any loss, injury, or damage caused by participating in the Competition or by accepting the prize.

7.3 By entering the Competition, participants agree to the use of their submitted artwork for promotional purposes by Richard Marles MP and his office.

7.4 This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, participants release Meta from any and all liability.

8.1 The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the state of Victoria, Australia.
